Wirex offers a hassle-free way to add funds to your account using your credit or debit card. Follow these simple steps to add funds to your Wirex account using your local card!
Step 1: Log in to the Wirex app
To begin, open the Wirex app on your mobile device and log in to your account.
Step 2: Choose a currency to top up
Once you're logged in, select the fiat currency you want to use to top up your account. You have various options, including USD, EUR, GBP, and more.
Step 3: Select your linked card or add a new one
Next, choose the linked card that you want to use for the purchase. If you haven't linked your card to your Wirex account yet, click ‘Add New Card’ and follow the instructions in the app to do so.
Step 4: Enter the amount
Once you've chosen your card, enter the amount you want to add.
Step 5: Review the details and confirm payment
After entering the amount you wish to spend, review the transaction details to ensure everything is accurate. Once you're satisfied, tap the "Confirm" button to proceed with the payment.
Step 6: Confirm the purchase with 3DS
To complete the purchase, you may need to verify the transaction using 3DS (3-D Secure). This is an additional layer of security provided by your bank to prevent fraudulent activities. Follow the instructions in the app to complete the 3DS verification process.
